Dreams La Romana Resort And Spa All Inclusive

The resort is split into 2 Hotels, we stayed in the Family side. Regardless of which side you stay at if you're an adult you can use both sides both have restaurants and swimming pools. The only exception is Enclave. They have their own pools and parts of the beach on both sides of the resort. This is an upgrade. We upgraded to Enclave which meant we had full access to everything. The biggest question was it worth it? Probably not for us. If you enjoy your drinks then you may think so as Enclave have their lounges with Branded drink rather than local products. to be fair we found the bars good enough. We had a smooth arrival, we booked in and was provided with a cold drink and then escorted to our room our cases where then brought to the room. Our room was 7333 which was a partial sea view (Enclave). The room was a very good standard the cleaner came in everyday and in the evening they replaced our towels. We found the min-fridge was hit and miss always plenty of water and then with coke,sprite and a couple of beers. Pringles and M&M were also left but again that was hit and miss even tho we left tips everyday. Great collection of toiletries so no need to bring any. There is a Safe,Iron and hairdryer also each room has a coffee peculator, if you are a Tea drinker ask reception for a kettle which we did.The coffee shop was always happy to let me have milk and extra tea bags. Some of the rooms are having refurbishment work, it looked like a couple at the family side but a whole block at the Adults area. The work never caused any problems during our stay. Restaurants we found were the only issue, the family buffet was closed to ongoing work so they relocated to their conference centre. The setting and food was a big let down so we only eat there on our first night. The Adult Buffet only opened for lunch and breakfast, we ate there for lunch and found it very good, lovely selection of food and salads and deserts. Evening meals we found frustrating as they boasted numerous amounts of restaurants. What we didn't realise they don't all open each night. As we found one night as we waited over an hour for a table. Food was really good tho. During the day the hotel had a couple of places by the beach to grab a bite to eat if you didn't want to leave, wraps, burgers, hot dogs nachos etc. Plenty of sunbeds around the pools on adults and family sides along with each Enclave pool. We never visited the water park so can commit there.All pools have bars by the pool or have swim ups. Staff provide great service bring drinks on a regular basis. We spent our days on the beach, we chose the Adults Enclave not a large bit of beach but has more shade from umbrellas and trees. The Family Enclave beach was along side rocks so wasn't easy getting in and out of the sea. The families beach is the largest sandy beach great for families but little shade. Again plenty of free sunbeds on each beach. Again the staff around the beach area you couldn't fault, they soon remembe

Our experience at the Hilton La Romana family resort was exceptional. Everything was done to support us in having a wonderful holiday and we enjoyed every moment. The cleanliness is 2nd to none and staff are constantly cleaning. All areas. The friendliness of all staff is also outstanding. everybody is keen to say hello and help you whether that be to move lounges provide you with drinks towels or just have a friendly chat and give a recommendation on trips during our visit. The spice market restaurant roof was being refurbished. This meant we had to eat meals in the convention centre. The only thing I would say here is that the meals do need to be considerably hotter however The food is wonderful a different menu each and every night and on top of that a variety of different restaurants to choose from we will definitely visit this resort again and would like to mention all of the staff are amazing once again. Luis on trip booking super helpful and very knowledgeable he found the right trip for myself and my daughter. This was extremely kind and we had an amazing time on the snorkel and glass bottom boat trip. We even managed to see manatee swimming in the bay Nayeli & Cuisel, Victoria and Maria where all a wonderful contribution to the team in the restaurants it was great to be welcomed by their smiling faces every day also a special mention to the guys cleaning up around the facility sweeping collecting towels picking up rubbish. They were equally as pleasant and deserve praise for their, efforts. We will return to this resort because we absolutely loved it and the people. Ps you need more shade on the front row family beach

Good property, attention to guest services has come down, we have been here four years in a row, this year, the food was horrible, Japanese Hibachi was good, chef Henry was really good entertaining the table.

This property is great. I stayed on the family side with my 16 year old daughter. The amenities are top notch. The staff especially Ronaldo (bellman) and Beinvenido (main buffet) were amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make the experience unforgettable. 5 stars!

This resort is on the most gorgeous beach we’ve visited. The staff was very welcoming and helpful and rooms were clean. Our kids enjoyed the water park and the food options at the water park were good and convenient. The beach, pools and waterpark were never crowded during our stay and we were able to find seats with shade at all locations. The teen club was a big hit with put kids and Geraldo and Juan Daniel were phenomenal!

Great Hotel! The workers did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Our waiter at the buffet, Bienvenido, was especially accommodating. Also, cleaning lady, Liliana, always provided us with whatever we requested. Truly a wonderful visit!
